Non geographic numbers
A number of people on this forum feel (justifiably) miffed at having to pay out the higher call costs of 0870/0845 numbers as opposed to dialling a normal STD code number (particularly when increasing numbers of us have mobile phone deals that enable STD code numbers to be dialled within our bundled minutes but don't extend that to 0845/0870 numbers-or landline deals where we can dial STD numbers free after 6pm and at weekends). Use this site http://www.saynoto0870.com/companysearch.php to search for the STD alternative to 0845/0870 numbers for Tiscali or any other company.
