As usual, opening up a previous monopoly service to allow other companies to offer their services, increases quality and drives down prices..

Interesting bit of the article:
Curiously, BT is not actively promoting its other 118 number, 118707, which allows you to access one search for a flat fee of 35p.

To right there Ian.... the BT alternative is shown on the tables I've popped on the News thread

Compare the mobile charges with those for BT or Cable lines
