since 2t2 thomson have removed support for 7G variants deliberately to stop people flashing their home hubs, telnet and FTP are also disabled in BT firmware for the same reason. They may be a cure in the future but its going to require reverse engineering of the BLI format or stable JTAG writes both some way off.

some here including source http://www.broadcom.com/products/com...nloads.php#cfe
also
have a look at this
http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs
and here
http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r186...DeBrick-Access
and here
http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...m?t=896070&p=1
there is a lot more but these will get you going in the right direction, the last link to whirlpool gives a better jtag lead and software link.
