I have a home network with 1 desktop PC and 2 laptop PCs. Each PC runs its own copy of Outlook 2007. My desktop PC syncs with my mobile phone, and syncs all Outlook info (calendar etc.)
My query is...is there any way of getting the Outlook calendar on the desktop PC to sync (daily) with the laptops? I gather its not a simple as just sync-ing a specific folder, and also believe that this may not be possible without running an Exchange server, but am looking for guidance as to how best to tackle this where possible. Any help would be gratefully received

I'm resurecting this old thread, coz I'm having another go at doing this...
I have found a website explaining how to Share Folders with Local Users using Internet Publishing, however I canot get it to work ![]() Here's the link, can anyone point out what I'm doing wrong? My setup is - My Desktop PC (DESKTOP) running XP, my Laptop (NIK-LAPTOP) running Vista, and another laptop also running Vista. All run Outlook 2007. I have a Shared Documents (SharedDocs) folder on DESKTOP which both laptops can access and write to. Within that folder I have created a Calendar folder to hold the published Calendar from Outlook 2007. I have installed IIS, and have confirmed that WebDAV in enabled. I have created the Virtual Directory, and have specified that be the Calendar folder created earlier. I then go into Outlook 2007 on NIK-LAPTOP (where the 'master' calendar is located), click on the calendar I wish to use, and choose to Publish to WebDAV Server. This is where the problem arises. It will not accept the address to publish to, which I am specifying as \\DESKTOP\SharedDocs\Calendar. Neither will it publish to http://DESKTOP/SharedDocs/Calender Any ideas where I am going wrong?
