Hi thinking of buying the 'Epson Stylus SX405 WiFi Edition All In One Printer' & just wondered I don't have WiFi at the moment will such 'WiFi' printers still work as usual without a WiFi Modem? Also is there any difference between the SX400 & SX450?
Appreciate any help Thx

have a look at these links,http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...r%2fLCD+Screen
or http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...and+PictBridge details of both, if you need more then go to epson's web site, and by the looks of it you can use the wi-fi with usb |

Hi cheers its just that the WiFi seems cheaper than the ones without , so could be advantageous when I do go WiFi I guess the SX405 is just the latest from SX400 with no real difference?
Appreciated

from the info in the links i posted it tells you in the tech specs bit on both, from memory i think one difference is Scanner Digital Resolution: 1200x2400 dpi on the wf-fi one,and the other is only 600dpi

yep i think that is the real difference, o by the way the second link is not working, so i cant compare from there. but i looked round and thats the main thing, well i think i killed 2 birds with one stone, as i was looking for this info i also found t0711 ink cartridges much cheaper !! yey i was paying too much each seems, you can find the original ink cartridges for this printer much cheaper from t0711.co.uk and if your looking for the compatibles i would recommend go-cartridges.co.uk, they have the premium british compatibles which have a lot more ink and from what i hear is that they are really good quality, although i haven't purchased the british compatibles yet. im gona get them on next purchase.
But i must say that this printer rocks, it has great picture quality and the spedd in which it prints is fast enough for me, the only negative thing is that it drinks a lot of ink when printing in high quality. |

Don't know if you've got one but I am selling an epson SX 405 for £35. It is a replacement new one from epson as my previous one didn't work properly, however I was given another so don't need it. It is still under some sort of warrenty. Interested?
