Sorry about the lateness of the hour but my life is not dictated by time. One or two of you may remember me from many years ago. I'm the 'pain in the butt' kinda guy. I haven't posted for a long time, but I have kept an eye on you.

I love discussion on any subject. I will offer my honest opinion or view, I do not ask that you agree, merely allow that it is my own. I would never condemn the opinion of another, although I might challenge it. In short, I will say what I feel.

I would warn you though that I can be ..... lets say ... different. If you all can live with that, roll on.

Not that I remember you from before which perhaps suggests you are not such a great lover because I generally remember the best ones!
I rarely visit here these days - only here now cos I got notification of your posting probably because I'm on this thread somewhere.
But The Scream is always a wonderful port of call for me when I have some techie prob on my computer - folk here are pretty friendly I always found and helpful.

I'm having a rough time at present with bowel cancer and there's a chance I won't make it so 'hello' to anybody here who has helped me in the past like Silver - is he still around? I think he lives near me in Dorset.

Well I'll stop rambling on now GreatLover so if you want to have an argument with me - just try suggesting there are no such thing as UFOs or the paranormal and you might get me going.....

Hi skysurfer. You want an argument, I'll give you one. No, not about UFO's, or the paranormal, but I will give you an argument about your attitude to life. Ok, I sympathise with you and your problem. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, but do you think that for one minute I gave up on life like you? Like hell I did. Six years later I'm still here and giving everybody else hell.

It's not the life we will lose that's important, we are all going to die, it's the life we live that matters. So, it's up to you my friend, you gonna hide in a corner and weep, or are you gonna beat this thing, and me along with it?

Not really sure how you can fathom my attitude to life from one line saying there's a chance I won't make it!

Even you must have accepted there's a chance but that doesn't mean I've given up or think I won't. No I'm happy and cheerful, living a day at a time, not giving this thing hardly any attention and having fantastic times with my ladyfriend.

So rest assured greatlover I'll be around for a long time yet - maybe not quite as long as you cos I'm pushing 71 and maybe you're a bit younger?

But my old dad was 100 when he died so I hope to beat him to a century and beyond.

I'm so busy having fun at present I've no time today for UFO discussions but dangle your best arguments in front of me if you like and I'll get back soon.

Skysurfer, my friend (as I hope I will be). I apologise if I came across a tad hard, It wasn't intended that way. It's good to read that you are still getting the most from life. you little devil you. Hey, I'm not so young. Not as old as you maybe, but chasing.

As you seem to have gathered, I am not a believer in UFO's or the paranormal so I look forward to some interesting posts. Your starter for 10. I read recently that many UFO hunters now accept that they don't exist. Are you having doubts at all?
