Screamers in Weston/Bristol ?

As of next month due to my job I will be relocating to Weston Super Mare so I was wondering how many Screamers were in that area (if anyone) who can tell where and what to avoid.

Will be moving up with 2 maybe 3 other work colleagues, the new company that I'm working for have paid quite a chunk of money too to help us out. They are paying our first months rent and deposit plus other expenses in getting up there such as hiring a van and fuel costs etc.

Decided I'd sooner havea job working in weston than be jobless down here in Cornwall.

Given that I can't swim will be going nowhere near the sea.

I am from the other side of Bristol but in my opinion WSM is not as bad as some people say although the Bournville and Oldmixon Estate do still get a bad report yet I have friends who live there and have no problems.

Like all towns, city's ect there are some not so good spots but the other 98% of the area is ok

I'll literally be living in the heart of WSM itself, I'll be some 15 minutes away from where I work

Now if you travel up to Bristol for a drink Avonmouth, Shirehampton and Southmead are some area's to avoid. Very clicky unless they know you.

Good luck with the move and I think you will find Weston is a good place to be.

I certainly did like it when I went up there last month house hunting. I'm sure I though Silver lives up there, but I could be wrong about that. I know someone here is from that general area.

Doing what I did for Consumer Direct for Citizens Advice now. Helping my team leaders (I'm just a senior advisor) getting the new recruits up to speed on consumer law and how to handle the calls etc.

All I can say is so far so good, went out with some lads from work on Thursday after work, I got a bit drunk and tripped up the steps to my flat and well totalled my mobile phone, smashed it to bits, new one has been purchased.
