Default UK Post Office and Tele2 to Launch Phone Card

from computerwire.com
The UK Post Office has teamed up with the Calling Card Company, a subsidiary of Swedish new carrier Tele2 AB to launch a new phone card that it says will enable callers to save up to 90% on international calls at all times by charging per second, rather than per minute for call time.

The Post Office said the cards are available in denominations of 5 pounds ($7), 10 pounds ($14) and 20 pounds ($28) and can be used from most fixed-line or mobile phones. Customers can check the remaining value on the card by calling a free 24-hour operator service.
