Default Hello Tebs

I'm only one day old, not chronologically, I joined last night.

Would have posted here first if I hadn't just jumped right in the water, and getting my shoes all squooshy in the process.

From West Coast, United States... land of granola, as the rest of the country knows, filled with fruits, flakes and nuts. Me, I'm a grit in the mix.

Er, what else about me? I have a short attention span, so I might come back as soon as I remember why I posted this.

Hi! Iam Dennis.
59 years of age, have been married to my wife Rita, for 38 years we have no children,(just did not happen for us)
have been a painter/decorator ceramic wall & floor tiler, for the last 30 years, unfortunately, am now unemployed as I have arthritus in my knees & wrist joints (no comments on the wrist joints please) also have a condition known as ectodermal dysplasia do not sweat, instead my body boils up in hot conditions, there for I cant enjoy the sun or hot temperatures so all you sun worshipers think your selfs lucky on polotics, I havent voted since Maggie left, I think most MP now are in it for what they can get out of it for themselfs.
Religion, I keep an open mind, like every one else I think it is up to people to decide for themselfs, but I hate people like Jehovas
witness who are for ever round your door preaching theres
My hobbies are reading, I have over a 1000 books, also music from 50s to the 80s, have over 1000 lps, & 3000 singles
my interests are believe it or not, decorating and any thing to do with DIY beating great lover & merlin at pool . and classic cars.
well that is all for now, catch you later

Hi Dennis, In the sixties I wasn't really big into any band or singer
I just enjoyed all the music. My fav band would have been the Rolling Stones. A couple of years ago or maybe longer they had a triple set called "The London Years". It has every A and B side they ever made during the sixties and one or two from seventy or seventy one. After that I sorta lost interest in all pop music. I have a large collection of compilation sets from the 60's, that music will never die. It was one hell of a time.

Stonesman
I had a feeling you were a rolling stones fan, by your auther name. they are one of my favourites too, but i was a big fan of the king Elvis Presley, also groups like status quo, dave clark five, and the beatles, I think if I wanted to remember the best 10 years of my life, it would have to be the sixtys. what a swinging time we had then, all partys & rock & roll.

Yes Dennis, only we could be lot wiser if we got another go at the 60's. It all came and went much too quickly.
I'm just glad I was around and able to live it.

Default Hello Dennis, Wise Old Man

I'm very new too, but I think this is one of the nicest places to be in on the net. Oh, sure, there are a few who may try to turn you right-side up when you're happily standing on your head, but generally, a good bunch of folks here.

Welcome again Alnath....

You seem to be a great hit with the ladies of T/S - It would be a great help if you could share your secrets of success with some of us who lack this magnetism

Shall we stick to crotchet or would it better to start line dancing....

Default Hi :-)

Just want to introduce myself

I'm a 42 year old teacher from Leicester. I know of the Scream thru my partner who was once a member. I wont say who as I do not want this to prejudice you against me

I've been following posts on here for a few years now thru him so I'm up to speed you might say with a lot of the "history".

I'm a chilled out lady but be careful not to ruffle my feathers!
