Angry Homechoice & Virgin.net dial-up access

Good morning

I have been using Virgin.net for my emails and have been accessing my Virgin
emails for some time now using their dial-up service. Since installing homechoice broadband service, I have had approximately two weeks of uninterrupted access, via Homechoice broadband, to access my Virgin.net account.

However, two nights ago access to my Virgin.net account using Homechoice broadband has not been available UNLESS I use dial-up to access my Virgin account.
After using dial-up, I can then access my virgin account using Homechoice
broadband BUT only for 3-4 send/receives before it stops working. Furthermore, I can no longer access the www.virgin.net homepage but can access any other website using Explorer or Netscape.

I have spoken both with Homechoice and Virgin, both blame each other for the problem which leaves me, THE CUSTOMER, in a difficult and frustrating position.

Here are my technical details:
 Laptop iBook G3 OS10.3 using Entourage mail & IE6
 Broadband connection with Homechoice
 Wireless Airport Express

After speaking with Virgin support it seems that there are numerous Homechoice customers, with virgin email accounts, who are having similar problems.

I can access Virgin.net webmail for my virgin.net emails, from my work network.
