Angry Help!!!Virgin Broadband Cancel Hell.

At this point,I don't really know what to do.
It's been 3 months after my 1 year contract run out with them.
The bill still comes through my door.
I have spent more than 50 calling them to cancel my service.
One time I waited on the phone for half an hour to be able to talk to a real person.
They still threaten me with debt collect agency even though I own them nothing!
Please tell me how I'm able to cancel this service and cut my ties with this nightmare!

id personally call them and go garrety this could end up effecting your credit rating!

I am really sorry to hear about your nightmare with Virgin.... it seems you are not alone.

I work for a TV production company called Watershed and we are currently making a documentary about Automated Services in the UK - everything from poor customer service lines to self-service checkout tills in the supermarket. I have found lots of stories like yours during the course of my research.

I would be really interested in hearing a bit more abut your problem - would you mind telling me about it? I hope you don't mind me contacting you, but I am keen to hear from as many disgruntled customers as possible!

I think its very unfair that Virgin charge me 5 a month because i dont pay by direct debit. I pay online which is a click of a button at my end to their bank at their end, simples no admin or paperwork. I have had the argument with them but they insist no dd then a charge applies.
