Default Facebook

It seems that more than 600,000 people failed to sign into Facebook over the last month. So no surprise there.
But then there's always Twitter. Ok you are restricted to a few words of inane chat, but there you go.
Can I ask a question? When you seek a new forum, what are you looking for? It's obviously not debate.
For goodness sake folksies, there's a whole world out there, join it.

The reason nobody's here, is because they ARE in the big world out there

Oh I love it Tia matey. The world out there
Places like 'Twitter' You are allowed enough words to say 'I went shopping today' or even 'I went shopping to ASDA' today. Wow.

But then there is of course always 'Facebook'. ....... yea, and how sad is that.

But there you go, each to their own I say.

You must forgive me folks, I always imagined the world to be much bigger.

I am not a fan of twitter, perhaps I am not following the right people or I just don't have much that needs broadcasting

facebook, it's a bit like a fast moving buffet of mostly crap (again perhaps I don't have the right 'friends'!),. but then you wonder if there's something good/useful posted there and that can happen so I do end up checking facebook quite often

forums though I do like for 'interests' say for example if you were really into crochet then a decent crochet forum is a must, especially the case if there's a good bunch of people there, one of the things with TS! is there's a good bunch of people (though most don't post very often!) but the interest focus (ISPs / i'net stuff etc) is quite generic and most people are sorted for ISPs these days

the 'real world' is another place entirely!

Facebook can be useful: it was only through it that I learned about a 30-year reunion that ex-pupils of my school year were arranging - I'd lost touch with most of them (having moved away) so it was nice to be able to meet up again.

Although (much like here) I tend to comment once every blue moon.

Hiya bouncingjohn and silverand of course the scourge of the airwaves our Tia.
Great to get your feedback folksies. I feel sure that you are people like me. I have something to say and I want to be able to say it. Log into the 'Scream' and you shy away. Why? Ok, the Scream has a lot of technocrats, people far more intelligent than me, but do you think I give a damn?
It is a forum, talk about whatever you want. Give an opinion on whatever you want. It is a forum, it is your pulpit, use it.

I'll let you know if I've been assassinated for telling you so.
