Question Speedtouch USB ADSL and Xbox Live; please help.

Hi guys, I have a speedtouch 330 USB ADSL modem and i've tried connecting to xbox live by putting the ethernet cable into my computer whilst having the computer connected to the speedtouch modem but everytime i run the connection test on my xbox it says ip failed. How do i solve this issue? I've tried that internet connection sharing thing on my computer but it doesnt seem to solve the problem.

Thanks for the reply but the option to assign ip addresses automatically is already ticked and this doesnt solve the problem.

Thanks again

Otherwise, firewalls can block ICS. Sometimes referred to as gateway mode on third party firewalls. Some free firewalls disable the gateway option only allowing this configuration on the premium version.
