Well in safemode, only the most needed drivers are installed.

Does you keyboard have special features buttons and do you use them ??

If you dont use them, try uninstalling the Logitech software (Setpoint I think its called) and/or drivers from Add/Remove Programs, then restart the PC and let Windows load its own drivers, if applicable.

I have a few feature buttons. Only use sleep button. As for Logitech, dread the thought of altering setpoint again. It worked for months, why would it suddenly be a problem?

I will try it if all else fails though.

Hiya.

I am not saying it is the problem, its the only thing I can think of that may be the problem and is a process of elimination.

Software and hardware do occassionally fail over time, whether it be a glitch, software brain phart, corruption or component failure.

Its up to you if you uninstall it or not, but that is my last suggestion for the time being, I am out of idea's.

Well yes it may be the forum you use, which I said in the first place but you also said it was happening here yesterday. I have been basing my suggestions universally since then, not on one forum.

You >> Doing it here now IE explore is now the highest 246.49. CPU 00

Me >> You mean its slow to move the mouse here aswell ?

You >> yes. Most drag on front page!
So we are now back to square one, with zero progress made and I cant personally see an easy solution at this time. Maybe its staring me in the face and my brain just wont engage, or maybe someone else can suggest something to try.
