Default To jail or not to jail

A sex offender is not jailed because a judge reads a home office directive that prison places are few and far between !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A newspaper man is given four months for "plotting to hack royal tel. calls"
A second is given 6 months for "conspiring to access" tel.calls.
Recently an OAP was jailed for not paying her full council tax.Hope she checks her house band (Trevor McDonald prog.tonight) and that a rebate is in order. How come they have places for them? Are they deemed, serious offenders, a risk to the public ? What is happening to this country ?
Sorry cannot go on anymore-this country is turning into a joke!!

I agree 100%,if we lived in any other country and committed a crime we would be deported,So the question I have to ask is if they(The goverment) did the same would we have room for our(toerags)criminals, pedos, and murderers.??????

Don't worry the world will be ending soon due to pollution.

Did anyone see the recent programme about the development of the cheap flight industry in India?

As countries such as India and China want, and will be able to afford, the convenience of log distance travel by air the greenhouse gas levels will continue to increase despite current proposals to try and reduce them.

The end of the world is nigh.... stop worrying about whether or not a few pedos get jailed.

Anyone else fed up with the shrill and hysterical 'The end of the world is nigh' doomsayers ?

Rational thought once again seems to have deserted this bunch of easily led ninnies and they want to blow shedloads of OUR money trying to avoid a natural climate cycle in the deluded belief that 'we're all guilty' ....not that we ought to be complacent about our overall pollution generally though.

Maybe there should be more space in our jails for those who kill or maim children through drunk or dangerous driving!!!!

We don't keep our kids boarded in the home for fear of them being killed in a road accident or struck by lightning and I wouldn't stop a child from going out for fear of paedos.

Anyone who believes that the current climate changes are not the result of the pollution by mankind must have their heads in the sand of a beach covered in tar oil and smothered birds or their heads in the clouds polluted with the excrements of aircraft and industry.
