Thumbs down TP-Link TD-w8190 ADSL2+ router

This router is shockingly bad for working with ISPs using ADSl2+.

i bought one from svp.co.uk who normally sell really good products. Although with other providers it is meant to be ok, try using it with a high-speed ISP like BE and there are numerous problems. Luckily I have free technical support and I needed it for 2 hours. In the end the limited options meant we connected through MAC Encapsulation mode, and they had to upgrade me to a static IP address. The NAT comes up as moderate on Xbox Live meaning some problems playing online games and the wireless range is no better than the free BeBox. I got it to put on a wireless range extender but this did not help. Speeds are slower than before.

Anyone thinking of getting one for use on Be or O2 or any other high speed ISp service in the UK don't bother wasting you 1.88 plus shipping.
