Default Our Wedding Anniversay (Yesterday)

Firstly a scan of the picture taken a few days ago in the shop where we purchased our Minolta Dimage G400 (4 MegaPixel). The printout that I scanned with Canon 5200F was printed directly from the Minolta card by an Epson PictureMate.

Have not yet mastered the task of getting these images smaller without substantial quality loss - sorry if these are overlarge right now but they are very poor in comparison with the originals on my laptop high definition screen.

Firstly we walked to the highpoint of our local woods to and had a splendid view of the heather....

Then on into the village......

Returned home and decided on a car trip to Arundel for lunch.

On the way we had to stop to admire the cornfields.......

Had a salad lunch at McDonalds. Not in your four star Michelin Guide but now providing superb salads. - better than most restaurants provide.

After lunch we had a long walk round the lake at Arundel and then along the river bank to the The Black Rabbit where we enjoyed a beer by the waterside watching the swans and passing boats.

Returned home for a siesta and

Enjoyed the sun until early evening, wine and a nice meal.

"Coming upstairs for a read?"

The end of a splendid day.........

Good on you both.

Too few long lasting relationships in this throwaway 21st century.

Thanks for all your kind comments folks......

Maybe I'll stay with Mrs W/L for another year to collect the rubies

Rubies are Mrs W/L's favourite gemstone and so she has a ruby and diamond engagement ring and also a ruby and diamond eternity ring.

.... better start saving up again

Didn't see them when they were overlarge, but they look really clear and quite stunning now.

seeing the pics of England almost made me cry. I miss it so much.

I love Arundel... it's one of my favorite spots. We stayed at a cute little B&B across from the castle and I'll never forget that trip.

Very nice pics WL!! Thank you for sharing them...
