Ive seen a 'Hewlett Packard HP Deskjet 840C' for sale at quite a reasonable price but im unable to find a decent review or an idea of how much it should cost.
Ive tried googleing but i am getting sick or printer cartridge websites disguised as review sites. Does anyone have a link or better still own one for a bit of info ?? Cheers |

Quick review of the 842 at http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,15351,00.asp.
The difference between the two--and the only difference HP will admit to--is that, "The HP Deskjet 840C printer, however, is directed at the worldwide channel, and the HP Deskjet 842C printer is directed at the retail channel in the U.S. and Canada only."

Cheers ttterk,
It sounds ok but not outstanding but could be worth a punt. Does anyone know how much one of these would retail at ??? |

I have an 840C. Print quality (even in draft mode) is excellent and it's pretty good on pictures too. The only drawback I found is that the ink cartridges are a bit expensive.
Cost about £80 4 years ago, so would expect it to be a lot less now.
