forum / server issues?

quick note, a few peeps have contacted us saying they're having an issue with the forum and staying logged in.. seems only to have started recently and is also intermittent.

it might be an ISP issue with proxies or other client side problem or it could be the server playing up..

let us know if you're having problems as it might help us work out whats wrong

Yes, I've been logged out too!

don't know at this point - have reset the sessions table as it was quite big but apart from that can't think what causes the logouts,. server load isn't too bad but was spiking earlier - or it's an ISP issue..

Its as slow as a slow thing here (not sure if thats my ISP though) and the Post Reply, Edit Post and move to Last post dont work consistently.

am also getting slow load times (like yesterday) compared to when we moved on to the new dedicated server, but put it down to my dsl connection and the fact I load a whole window of tabs practically at once.

No problems here with Pipex and Firebird via Belkin wireless router.

Perhaps it's because I'm using W98SE OS

Having said that it has sped up in the last 15 minutes. And no glitches.

Has one of the mods spilt their beer on the server?
