Got this at work and i've got to say i'm not very impressed so far. It's more like Windows XP SP3 to my eyes.
Another needless upgrade forced on the market. Love the quote at the end, i think your working in the wrong business Mr Goffe.

I have read so much about the restrictions built into Vista that I cannot see anyone wishing to continue to use the internet freely ever migrating to it.
It is a shame that none of the linux suppliers have come up with something that works in the way windows work. E.G. I tried a copy of linshere linux the other day on my old machin. I then downloaded the linux version of Skype from the skype website. having downloaded i double clicked on it to install it as one would with Windows. It did nothing. Having messed around trying to get it to install and having read through the help files, I finally gave up and removed linux from the machine. |

Yeah, I've said it before: the problem with Linux is that it isn't easy.
You want to install some software? Best do a Google search to find out how. You want to install a game? May as well give up now. I do like the idea of Linux, but I don't think it's anywhere near ready for most people to use.
