Default Problem with Transit van

Hi guys, firstly i would like to introduce myself to your forum. Im jim and have a question for anyone who knows a bit about mechanics.
Ive got a y reg transit and the oil cooler packed in. The guy that fixes my van said he could bypass the cooler. A good idea or a bad idea?

If your not driving round with a full load all the time it will be ok without the cooler, As its there to cool the oil when it gets too hot or hard driving (white van man lol)

But if you do carry full/heavy loads a lot i would get it replaced check your local scrappy out.

Or do it the lazy way online http://www.findapart.co.uk/ email and phone are free but dont use sms as theres a charge

On a recent flight turned off the new film version of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Didn't compare at all favourably with the BBC television version and was able to get an outrageously priced DVD of that production.

It's really outstanding and the background clips showed that what appeared to be computer generated text was undertaken by filming and removing the black covering of each lettter one at a time!

Thought the talking dish of the day was absolutely splendid.

Can anyone explain how Trillian's dress stayed up?

Much as I fancied 'Trillian' in the BBC tv series, I much preferred the radio stuff and the books.....I like to use my imagination !

As Jims transit is probably either fixed or dead by now, I'll continue with this unashamed hijacking.
I have the complete radio series of HHG in MP3 format if anyone's interested.

Injectors can be temperamental, especially if the engine has stood for a period. You can get additives to try to clear
