Talk Talk Wireless Connection

HI All

I am trying to help a friend who has just taken in a lodger, he and his partner can connect via wireless to the router, but the lodger cannot on his laptop. I have double checked all the WEP password and all correct. I have released and renewed the ip on the new laptop. Used the Talk Talk CD to update the wireless setting on the laptop adapter, but no joy.

It just says limited or no connectivity on the icon in windows. Can connect fine using a ethernet cable.

Any help would be much apprecated.

Hiya.

What operating system is being used on the PC's/Laptops. EG. Win2k, XP, Vista, etc,

What Router is being used. Make/Model number.

If it works over Ethernet, then the problem lies purely in the Wireless settings, which brings to mind, that it may just be a simple sanction of the connection is missing.

On my SpeedTouch 585, even though it is set to allow all connections, I still have to tick a box to allow my Wireless connection through WDS. (Wireless Disribution System.) Without that, the other PC cannot connect to the net.

Is there anything like that in the Routers interface configuration settings ?
