I tried firing up a programme I use regularly last night and I got this error message:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006). Click on OK to terminate the programme." I've tried reloading the software from the disc but the same error message comes up. I'm using windows XP. The software has been operating fine since it was first installed last March, I used the add and remove programs thing in the control panel to remove the software before trying to reload. I've just installed the software successfully on the wifes laptop (Windows XP) and its running fine there. But still cannot install it on my PC, I've tried a system restore to a point when it was still operating but although the programme is there I still get the same error message when trying to load. Any suggestions please? __________________ |

This could've been the result of a lot of things, such as a bad Windows Update, conflict with another application, damaged installation/running files for the program, or even hardare damage (RAM or hard drive). You should format your hard drive and reload your Windows XP again which usually sorts things. Otherwise, you'd have to take it into a computer shop and they may (or may not) offer an alternative solution.
Good luck!
