Default Phonepayplus (almost) admits that unsolicited reverse charge SMS is a problem

Meet Florian Demuth, Customer Services Advisor

Q. What are the main types of external queries that the Contact Centre receives?

The vast majority of complaints are related to reverse-charged text messages consumers state to be unsolicited.
But, as Mr Demuth obviously seeks to imply, we all know that the customers are wrong here. As the PRS industry, Ofcom, and the ICO insist, there is no such thing as unsolicited reverse charge SMS; and as PP+ put it themselves in their responses to the customers "these messages would not have been unsolicited".

Happy New Year everybody!
