My next door neighbour is using aol braodband and connects to a bt voyager i think adsl as i know it no router.
Not sure if aol updates have been installed but the internet randomly closes down and other times doesnt. Its a built pc (by me 2 years ago) and is runnin win xp home edition sp2 i tink. We live north london enfield is anyone else gettin this random internet connection loss. Ive heard that aol is now CPW and things are bad any ideas welcome and any facts required please help. |

Since discovered modem is a bt voyager 190 adsl
runnin aol 9.0 win xp home sp2 Is anyone out there or have u all run away the forum is quiet |

Are you using AOL's software? If you are I would suggest that you uninstall it, you don't need AOL's software to connect. You can connect faster and easier using any browser (for example Firefox, IE or Google Chrome). I found that using AOL's crappy browser slowed my PC down and caused loss of connection. Better still use another ISP.
