Does anyone know how to access the GUI on a WGR614 v9 Virgin CABLE Router and not just the wireless set up?
If I type the url on the bottom it directs me to the wireless page. I need to be able to set up some port forwarding for these folk |

Generally type 192.168.1.1 into the browser to give you the set up page, whether wired or wireless.

Hiya.
From a quick search, Evertons IP address suggestion is correct for that router. EG. 192.168.1.1 Do you get an error message of any kind, or page not found, etc. Some use www.routerlogin.com and/or www.routerlogin.net to access the admin pages. Username virgin Password password Check what the Default gateway is in a Command prompt window, using ipconfig /all If its different to the above default, then try that IP address instead. Although not many people mess with the default IP, some do change them to suit their own private settings. You say you can access the wireless page using the URL on the bottom of the router, what is the URL ? Maybe try another browser for the 192.168.1.1, some browsers are finicky. Also check there are no script blockers, etc, active for the Admin pages. A reset of the Router using the pinhole reset button the back of the Router for 10 seconds, may clear the problem if you still cant access the Admin pages. ![]() PS. Just tried both the routerlogin options on my router and both give me access to the router Admin pages, its a netgear DG934G, the one you have is also a netgear, just branded as Virgin.

Thanks for your reply. The URL is one of these
www.routerlogin.com and/or www.routerlogin.net Please be aware that I'm no novice at accessing routers having spent a year or so flashing 2700's, so all these things I've already tried lol |

Just to echo JR5;
Lots of routers have problems with newer browsers esp. firefox and later versions of IE. Also if you were novice and used an installations CD (coaster) it may have prompted you to changed an admin password. So start with a factory reset |
