HELP! Cannot send Tiscali e-mails via Windows Live Mail

Hello, this is the short story after a very long unresolved journey.

I have a tiscali.co.uk e-mail address

I use Windows Live Mail (windows 7)

I can receive but not send

I am using Virgin Broadband

What should my settings be?

You cannot send mail from Tiscali when you are connected via Virgin (or any other ISP for that matter).

I assume that you have left Tiscali for Virgin. You will lose your Tiscali email address in due course so I would suggest that you inform all your Tiscali contacts that you have 'moved'. That's the problem when you change ISP's unless you have a 'paid for' email address or something like Gmail, Hotmail etc.

You could put your Virgin outgoing settings in for your Tiscali but I cannot remember exactly how you do that at present (I'm in France at the moment).

Hi, I haven't left Virgin, they have always been my broadband provider and tiscali has always been my webmail account that I sync with my PC, it used to work with outlook on vista but not live mail on windows 7. Ever since talktalk took overthey have caused problems. I even pay £9.99 a year for the service. Thanks
