Hi,
I want to my from BT to The Post Offcie for my line rental as it's much cheaper for me, and I can get £50 credited to my account if I sign up before the end of March
I have broadband from BE Broadband.
I spoke with BE broadband and they told me that BT would basically clear the line to enable me to switch to The PO, and they (BE) would have to charge me a £25 reprovisioning charge as a BT engineer would have to go and do something at the exchange?
Is this right anyone?
I want to move to The PO as it's much cheaper and I am on a DMP, so need every penny I can get!
There's not much point if BE Broadband are gonna charge me £25, and they also said I would lose internet access for 3-5 working days as the worjk required by BT would interrupt my service with BE
It doesn't mention any possible reprovision fee in The PO's T&C's, but I guess they wouldn't as if it's a charge imposed by the broadband company you are with when you make the switch, then it's nowt to do with The PO.
Anyone help / advise please ASAP?
