Hello, when I read on a daily basis of the problems people are having with their ISP I feel I must write and tell of our satisfactionwith Virgin.net24/7. I dont know what people expect from an ISP but for general surfing we have no problems at all. In fact it is a pleasure to log-on to Virgin.net. 99.9% of the time, first time connection and usually full 2 hour cut-off. If anyone thinking of changing ISP I at this time could surely recommend Virgin.net We been with them close on 3 months now and are very satisfied with their service.

I must admit that I joined Virgin Net some 5 years ago and used them for about a year until RedHotAnt came along (and went) then onto Screaming Net and it's subsequent incarnations! I still use my Virgin email daily to pick up email and log on about once in every 6 weeks or so to keep my account active (I am now with WOL ADSL) and I agree that email has always been reliable although I cannot verify logging onto Virgin.

I used to work as a Board Host and Chat Moderator from inside the V.Net building in Golden Square - nice company - i just wish my own personal account was anywhere near good enough.

An update on the first post from over a year ago.
Still a first-class ISP. Not a bad word to say about them. I don't play games so can't comment on that end of Virgin.net
