i recently reversed into a lampost lol. yes. retarded i know but it was dark and i wasnt looking properly. basically it shattered my left break light cover, the plastic cover like.
The bulbs are still working perfectly how much will it be for me to repair this? i have a 1996 ford fiesta LX 1.2 car btw. and ive had it for four days lol. first car ![]() any help would be appreciated thanks. |

Usually these brake light covers are easy to replace, either they're screwed on from the front, or you may have to take the whole fitting off from inside the boot. You should be able to get a replacement from almost any car breakers, sometimes even getting one from a Ford dealer might be cheap. Ask them.

Also some breakers will sell thru ebay or on the internet etc.
Useful for those of us too lazy to go to the local breakers yard As centaur says it should be an easy repair, you are not the first to break a lens. Just dont drive with white lights showing or you will get a tug from the white caps, better to tape up the old lens with red tape until you fix it. |

At a guess a Ford Tail light would be about £40 maybe more
a scrap yard will be cheaper i could tell you the exact price but my systems are switched off at the moment sorry but it is almost midnight ![]()
