Microsoft Halts Service Packs for XP and Vista
Microsoft has halted Distribution of Service Pack 3 for XP & Service Pack 1 for Vista.
This is due to problems with Microsoft's 'Dynamics Retail Management System' which is used by about 38 thousand small and medium businesses.

Microsoft haven't altered Service pack 3 for XP, but have prevented users of DRMS from upgrading.
They have now re-released SP3 however users of AMD processors are reporting problems.
