I subscribed when it first started years ago and found it good. I am considering starting it again.
Anyone on here subscribe today? I would appreciate any comments, especially whether you consider the content good and valuable, and what is the price per annum? Is it monthly or bi monthly? Cheers Apps

I used to a few years back, but it got a bit expensive, especially when I was made redundant and had a hard time getting re-employed.
According to their website, there's a special offer where the first few issues are at reduced price and thereafter at £6.25 monthly. For this sort of money, I don't usually bother but read them at the local library where they keep over a year's editions available.

How often do you find that the Which? surveys and best buys don't rate the product criteria that concerns you.
For example noise levels of electric razors would be a key factor for me in deciding which model to buy. Why subscribe when you can get sample offers free and look things up in the library too. You can read some good product reviews on the internet too.

We subscribed for a while some years back and we re-started again last year, mainly because we were in a 'buying phase' (moved house).
I find Which very good - providing it happens to be looking at items you are currently (or soon will be) interested in. I guess it's what you can afford (it's not what I'd call cheap) verses how much you actually use it and what you use it for.

As a sales person I hate it when people come into my store with the latest copy of Which. Last time I encountered it the customer was after a product that we had discontinued some 4 months ago, I think it happened to be a certain model of Nikkon camera.
Had to point out the customer while it might have been true that we may well have stocked that camera sometime ago it had now gone end of line/discontinued and there was none in the county. Apart from the one we had on display, they moaned and moaned about how Which was never wrong and how this was the camera they wanted and had made a 40 mile round trip to come in and by it. Same thing happened with a certain model of Panasonic TV aswell. Just throwing my two pence in from a different point of view, Which is great so long as it's information is current, and while I agree most of the time it is, there have been times when it hasn't.

Thanks for all replies much appreciated, I have perused the Which website and taken up their offer of the first three issues for £1 each. I have the option of cancelling the direct debit after 3 months if not satisfied.
My local library does not have it, so not much other option available to me. I will give you my opinion after a while.

I took the magazine for many years, but gave it up when I noticed that a lot of the information given was not accurate, being in the Electrical retail and servicing trade I noticed lot's of errors in the test reports and often disagreed with their findings.
I always remember many years ago doing an electrical shaver test they marked down one of the best models purely on the grounds that after dropping it 20 times it broke! The trouble is that people do read it and think everything they say is fact and 'cast in stone' I can remember too when they voted the Hotpoint light 'n' easy best buy in the vac tests, three months later after 1000's of complaints they withdrew it from the magazine and advised people not to buy it, Lol we could have told them that, every one in the trade knew it was a cráp cleaner! It is an interesting magazine to read though but IMHO it's best not to buy purely on their advice. ![]()
