I hate Orange and I want to get out of this contract

Hi

I am with Orange and I want to change to BeThere.
I am not getting a satisfactory service but we're on a 12 month contract. I feel like if they're not giving me the service I want then I should be able to scrap them and change.

They have no email, you have to phone up and pay for them to help you on the service you're paying for.

The problem is my ping in games on LOCAL game servers is in its 60s, it should be at 40s at the most, it makes a difference for me.

I personally don't like Orange and think they're ****. Can any of you help me get past this contract BS?


I don't deal with the payment and that kind of stuff, my parents do. Hoping some knowledgeable people can help me out here.

I doubt that you (or your parents) can get out of this contract.

They could try contacting ispa / offcom however as there are no service level agreements for adsl or email.

Should they not provide you with adsl for several months then you may have a case. However simply unplugging your modem for two months wont cut it. (As if you could with without internet for two months anyway).

I'm pretty sure they could easily fix my latency by putting me on a decent server. It just probably requires a bit of human effort.

Depends if it's their backbone network, or even your exchange.

I reckon they've put me on a crappy server because I downloaded a lot during peak times and they've not bothered to put me back on a normal server.
