London 2010 FiveLead: Meet the Tele-marketing pests

over the recent days/weeks/months I've been getting more and more tele-marketing calls from 'Indian' people wanting to know who my gas supplier is and it's getting bloody annoying. the number is always withheld and many of the calls are just silence.
One guy said he worked for 'we offer you'?

it appears they are annoying a lot of people

The company which rang me is http://www.1uksurvey.co.uk/contactus.php, they are owned by http://rhi-ltd.com/aboutus.html. The contact numbers are the same for both companies. I tried to do a 1471, but the number that comes back to me is fake (01234578944) - isn't that illegal ???
