Skype Recorder problem

I wonder if anyone can help me sort out this recorder problem.

I have downloaded and installed this Skype recorder: review and link here:

Would it be too much to ask for somebody to install it too and maybe try to understand what may be going wrong with mine?

What happens is that I click on the icon and the recorder appears on the screen with the three buttons at the top Recorder On, Recorder Off and a Play button.

So I press the Recorder on button and it says at the bottom on the panel Recorder On but when I go to the folder where the mp3s should be - there's nothing there.

Somehow the thing isn't starting.

There's a page here - something about allowing access, but I can't quite understand what it's saying:

I did get a similar panel come up with that red 'allow authorisation' bar at the bottom but then I clicked on Record On button and the red bar disappeared.

I had exactly the same problem with you when I used it. I couldn't handle it. but i find another skype recorder, it's very easy to use. you can get it here www skype-record com

skysurfer looking at the links you gave it should work without too much trouble,. have you checked in skype if the recorder is allowed access?

I've experienced a lot of problems with skype lately, it regularly crashes and messages take a lot of time to be sent sometimes. I think they may have some server problems from time to time. But I still think that it's the best IM available for video chats etc.
