Recovery Of Lost Files? WORKS?
Hi when using 'Microsoft Works', I lost 3 pages of text, I was working on. I was transferring some text from various sites at the time. So was aware that certain text may cause a problem. Once before when this happened, the work came back when shutting down & restarting 'Works', but on the last occassion it was lost, luckily I had printed copies. I did want to save on HD as well though, is there any way of retrieving these lost pages? Is there any programs that may help?

I think you need some kind of 'clipboard' like the one Windows 95 and 98 and the Millennium Edition used to have. I expect that there are various free clipboard managers available, try Googling for them Joe.

My OCR software was part of the Canon printer/scanner package when I bought it a few months back. Have no experience of any independent stuff, sorry.
