Did anyone else on here set their video to record "Armageddon" on Channel 5, at 9pm Tuesday night ?
Well I did, and looked forward to watching it last night my with my fiancee (very romantic I know !) and it bloody well cut off 1 hour 6 minutes into the film This has happened before when setting the video using PDC on Channel 5, but why ? It was on 21:00 until 23:50pm and typing in the listed videoplus number duly entered those "times" into the video, with the PDC option "ON" meaning if it started and ended late, the whole film would be taped. However, like I said, it cut off 1 hour 6 minutes into watching it, which was right after the bloody annoying Channel 5 news update around 10pm, then we got an "Armageddon" movie still and the film started again BUT ONLY FOR LIKE 10 seconds then the damned thing stopped Anyone know why this happens ? PDC has always been reliable on other UK channels to date (BBC1, BBC2, Granada and C4) up here. Sooooooooooooooooooo annoying ![]() MegaTsunami. I thought PDC was a great thing when it came out many years ago. However, after having problems similar to yours a few years aog, I just decided that it wasn't reliable enough. I would still use Videoplus, where appropriate, but switch off PDC, and adjust the programme to start a few monutes early and end the programme about half an hour after the published end time.
