Question PDA Phones

Just wondering if anyone has any experience (or owns) one of the newer generation PDA phones ?

I am considering buying one, as I can't see the 3rd Gen Mobile Phones (3 etc) beng able to provide anywhere near as much functionality as a decent PDA, and in fact I think that all that video messaging stuff is a bit gimicky

Here are the ones I have found so far....

Trium Mondo

- Not keen on this one....only has 16Mb of Ram and a Mono LCD

Sagem WA3050

- Again, pretty much the same as above... Mono LCD and 16Mb Ram.

Anyone got any others they'd like to mention ?

Thanks

Some more ......

HP Jornada 928

- Looks more like the sort of thing i'm after

I could also opt for the Ericsson P800 which I am already tempted by......thing is, it's more of a phone than a PDA and I kinda want the reverse.

Then there's the Handspring Treo range which look quite nice, particularly the Treo 300

The O² XDA also looks nice

And finally the Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX 600.

Most of these reviews a re a little out of date, so I may well be well behind the times here

The register did not think much of the p800 as a pda. What about the now oldish nokia 9210? or one of those weird cards with a Mic you plug in the bottom of a PDA?

ooo I used to have a 9210, very nice phones.

Phone, fax, email, text, WAP, proper COLOUR! web that you can actually read and compatible with micro$ office.

Well the P800 is all viewers rather than actual mobile versions of the s/w, which I suppose enables them to keep the Ericsson feel to the applications, but I kinda wanted to hold more of a PDA than a phone and not the other way around, if you catch my drift.

Does anyone every watch location location location, where thay bloke and woman find houses for some really picky couple to live in. Well the woman uses a PDA phone on that to speak to the estate agents. It looks pretty cool, but I have no idea what it actually is

I'd need the Audio Flip cover to go with it or else answering it would be a bit of a pain.

Doesn't the one on that telly program have a speaker phone on it? Don't think the Tungsten has a speaker phone?
