In XP Explorer (version 7.0.5730) and Outlook Express are failing to reconnect to live Broadband ISP after hibernate or sleep. No problems when starting from cold!

Normally us a Netgear DG843G wireless router / hub.
V.easy to setup and no problems.
Just enter user name, pass, and add some encryption.
Freinds usb adsl modem broke and have lent them my Netgear. All OK

Tried to cancel the account with Tiscali last year when the end of the contract was near but was put off and let it stand. Now i definately want to be rid of Tiscali when the contract is almost at it's end in a couple of months time. So could anyone advise me on this please. Thanks

Users running amd processors are finding that Service Pack 3 for XP causes a reboot cycle.
The only way out of this is to boot into safe mode & uninstall SP3.
