Default Home hub as wireless VOIP client?

I have an unlocked home hub 1.0 running which I would like to use as a wireless VOIP line.
At present it connects to my WRT54G router via ethernet purely for use as an additional VOIP line with sipsorcery.com.
What I would love to be able to do is put the home hub into wireless client mode and keep the same VOIP setup. That way I can have a portable VOIP line anywhere in reach of my wireless signal. It seems like the wireless client part is possible but I'm not sure how I have to route the SIP traffic. Any info appreciated.
