i've played games since the days of the rubber keyed Spectrum It had loads of great games , but whenever I hear this question I temd to say final Fantasy 7 on the PS1 so much to do and see excellent learning curve and took a look time to do it.

Sadly now I 've got kids I can't spend time on RPG's and I tend to stick to FPS shooters.

I've never personally played any of the final fantasy games, but many of my freinds have and are addicted to them, The only RPG I've played and enjoyed was Star wars :Knight's of the old republic on the pc, have u played the MMORPG final fantasy???? a freind of mine is completly addicted to it.

I mostly play FPS shooters as well, I would go out and buy the new Deus ex:Invisible war but my bloody ge force mx 440 doesn't have the required pixel shaders

methinks its time to buy a 9800 pro

Never used a BBC computer I think the first one I saw at school was a PET? It had a green screen and everyone just played a car game avoiding blocks on the track.

First computer was a ZX81 but my fave game of all time is Wipeout on the PS1, it was simply so much better than all that had gone before it, the physics were superb and the game demanded you played it to death, if you didnt you were pants and did nothing but batter the track sides.

On a different angle, if Sims are included in this then Flight Sim, any version, is unbeatable for me. The realsim, if you choose it, can be stunning & that makes for an extra 'buzz'. Especially if you try landing a 747 maybe with 'virtually' a couple of hundred peoples lives in your hands.

My favourite game of all time is not the best game I've ever played but the first game that I played on the PC... The 7th Guest. I thought the atmosphere and music were amazing... I'd progressed from a ZX Spectrum.

The game that has had me hooked for the longest time has to be Klax although Toejam and Earl on the Megadrive is a really close second... brilliant gameplay.

Now I've just bought a Gameboy Advance SP and the game Harvest Moon has me hooked... there's always something to catch me and keep me amused...

Without a doubt its if Final Fatasy VII!
it was a game befor itsi rember playing it for the first time and being struck back by the opening scene because of the graphics. the whole storyline keeps the player glued to the game all the way to the end. even then it screams to be re-completed

It has to be a toss up between Birth Of The Federation, Homeworld 1 and Half Life 1.

If you pushed me though it would be BOTF, just for 7 years of game play! I clocked a game of BOTF just yesterday! for the 300th time!

My favourite of all time has got to be either Hacker2, spy vs spy or Racing Destruction Set on the Commodore 64

Favourite pc game I think is Team Fortress mod for Quake1

In recent times my favourites have been battlefield 1942 and vietnam (pirates mod for 1942 is gr8)

Battlefield2 maybe graphically better but isn't as much fun

Quite easy to say that my favourite game of all time was Goldeneye on the N64, closely followed by Mariokart 64

I enjoyed Farcry as a shoot em up
Splinter Cell for the stealth side of things
Rainbow Six for the planning
Comanche-Hokum for a helecoptor flight sim
Eurofighter and Lock on for flight sims.

Currently hooked and loosing big time on Americas Army but for a free online game I am enjoying it

Spy vs. Spy on the Sega Master System. Herzog Zwei and Micro Machines on Sega Megadrive. Rome Total War in PCs.
