Default Hosting a web page

I currently host my website with blueyonder but will soon be switching to sky.
When I switch I will loose my blueyonder website so I need to start hosting else where.
Any recommendations please and advice on how to switch would be most gratefully received.

Thanks DD

Thumbs up Re: Hosting a web page

All I can say is that I have used 1&1 for many years now without a problem - email too.

I don't know how they compare with others but I wanted a cheap linux box to play with and am using http://www.wizzvps.com/ - have been for a couple of years so far so good

*note is a vps so any setup for hosting websites etc is down to you

There are so many different hosting packages out there and I think it is very hard to choose the right one. I have already compared different provider but I am still not quite sure which one fulfills my requirements best. I guess at least I will ask my friends for help. Maybe they can recommend a specific one.
