Hi there
I am currently trying to set up a new Belkin ADSL modem/wireless/router.(F5D7632uk4) I have stepped through the instalation manual and set up everything suggested and then used the setup wizard.Both my laptop and PC can now make a wireless connection to the router but i can't get any network connection.(wireless or on ethernet during setup)The ADSL light is illuminated suggesting that the router sees a connection ok. I previously was connected through the standard Virgin modem with no issues at all for the last 5 months.(it still works fine if i re-connect) Any help appreciated on settings i could check or change to get me connected. Have you tried the Belkin support website, I found their set guides easy to follow and understand and had not trouble form then on

No i haven't had a look as yet,my task over this weekend is to get this working so thanks for the advice.I will check out the site and hopefully get up and running. Cheers David. |

Hi Dizzy Try using the modem. If you can connect up with that then the problem is most likely an invalid username/password |

Thanks for the replies.Some things turn out to be simple/silly and hit you between
the eyes. I have 2 logins for virgin: @adsl.virgin.net @virgin.net You will have guessed that i was using the second (incorrect) one and that's why i couldn't connect.Changed login in the setup and all now works great. It's sometimes the simple things. DoooooooH Cheers David. |

Hi, I'm having the same problem. I've tried both log-ins. The password is correct. I'm at a loss. It's asking me to input modem info before this stage too. help!

Its simply because Virgin media and Belkin just dont seem to be compatable. have just had 52 days without internet, multiple problems with BT were resolved and still no authentication. but in the end swapping to virgin supplied D-link solved prob ( after i reconfigured alledged preconfigured router)
