Please can you help? When I try to connect to AOL I get a Malicious Script warning (High Risk).
The object is FileSystemObject Activity Create Folder File waol.exe It recommends Stop Script but if I do that it just says restart AOL and it happens all over again. There are 4 other options - 1 Allow activity once -may spread problem 2 Allow entire script once- choose if you trust all the activities in script 3 Quarantine 4 Authorise - Lets it run with no further script blocling alerts. Choose this option if you know and trust the script source. I am not knowledgeable enough to be sure about trusting it although I felt that as it ended in exe it was probably important to AOL. I would be grateful if someone could tell me what to do as this is for my 78 year old neighbour. She only uses it for emails and family tree but I dare not lose any of that as she would be devastated. I know she should back up but I can't persuade her to! Thank you |
