speedtouch 510v6 web interface probs

I have a st 510v6 modem router, i forget wich firmware version is installed in it but i doubt if i can change this as i dont have the set up disc that should of come with it,as that contains the upgrade wizard,i have searched the net for a copy of the cd but no luck,and thomson dont issue a disc to end user,tiscali dont send them as they say uyou dont need them,lol My problem is that for some reason i cant define, is the embedded web pages that you use to configure it will not fully display in IE7 or Opera browsers, so preventing me configureing it does any one know why this is happening?, the router will however conect to the net but is sllloooow

Try firefox, Some older speedtouch firmware has problems with IE7 but firefox works OK.

thank's for the link, but as i do not have the set up cd that has the upload firmware wizard on it , it will not be as easy as it should of been,ie ftp, telnet ect but i think this modem is f*c*ed as now it will not talk to my pc or vice versa and when i power cycle it the led goes from red to green(power) and rewd again then after a few mins goes out only ethernet light is on, it does not even attemt to sync so i have given up with it and ordered a new one (different brand) and better hopfully

You should be able to find the thomson recovery utility on the interweb. The unlock bthomehub forums on the-scream has links to it. With instruction on how to recover from bricked.
