PhonepayPlus is proud to be sponsoring an event, to be held on 5 June 2008 at the Royal Statistical Society in London, by the Mobile Entertainment Forum and the Mobile Data Association.


This event will examine in detail the current regulatory framework for UK premium mobile content services. It brings together some of the principal players in the premium rate community to discuss current hot issues such as consumer policy and prize competitions, as well as showcase new business models including social networking and ad-funded mobile entertainment.

The UK mobile entertainment market is currently valued at £602 million and will be worth £1.39 billion by 2012*. Part of MEF's remit is to keep its membership informed of the latest regulatory developments affecting their business so that the industry can continue to grow for the benefit of all.
