AOL very slow connection

For past 5 days I have a very slow connection with AOL, (about 50-100kbit/s like dial-up)

I called them 3 times, spent over 2hours, doing all routers configurations, router reset, trying the connecion on many pcs, etc, nothing helped. (changed from @aol.com to @dialbb.com as well)

Looks like router is getting the speed 5.8megs but passing me like 1/60 of that, however once when i woke up i had 2megs for like 10mins, and then it went back to 100kbit/s

At the end the technical support told they cant help me, and that we did all the possible steps.

I did some more tests right now of the router and here is what i get:

Does any1 have any idea what can be wrong?

Just wondering did you do these tests during the day?

As i searched the net and asking aol customer services questions. I found out that aol acctually down throttles everyone between 12 noon till 10pm to stop people using torrent programs to get a monopoly over the bandwidth.

As im on a 8mb unlimited package, during the night after 11pm it hits 8mb on speed test but during the day between 2pm and 9pm it is about 1.5mb max.

Multiplayer games made by EA do not work during the day as EA uses torrent protocol for multiplayer.
