Hi, noob to the furum.
I am trying to send an email which is to a company and they have a .com extension to their email address. My outlook doesnt get chance, and office has a go and ultimately it doesnt work. Can I set outlook up to send email to a .com email address? |

My Outlook Express happily sends emails to anyone with a mail username in the form..................... jsmith@suchandsuch.com without problems, which means that Outlook will do the same.
Have you checked that the email address is ok and that you haven't typed it incorrectly, it's easily done ?

yep, as centaur says likely the issue is with the actual email address itself (especially if outlook / office is happily sending to other emails addresses). You might also consider setting up a http://www.gmail.com / googlemail account and send from there to see if that works
