Windows Live Messenger (WLM) keeps crashing!
My wife uses WLM on a daily basis. However, in the past week, her WLM keeps crashing. This only happens in Windows 7, not in Vista. However, Vista has problems of it's own, and we just want to get it working in W7.
She has tried running as Admin...no joy She has tried running after a Clean Boot...no joy WLM runs for about 2 mins, then crashes...she restarts, it runs for 2 mins then crashes again...and so on! I've scanned for viruses, but none found. Any ideas folks?

You could try un-installing an reinstalling
Or try the open source alternative pidgin or the free version of trillian. Supports msn,google, yahoo and all the usual IM suspects.

Nice idea about the Open Source alternatives, but I'd rather get WLM working. I'm thinking that it could be a symptom of a bigger problem, so installing a different program could just mask the underlying problem...
I guess a full uninstall and reinstall could be the first port-of-call
